MANUAL THERAPY INITIAL CONSULTATION, TREATMENT AND STATIC SADDLE ASSESSMENT £95

These sessions typically last up to 1.5 hours. Your practitioner will gather information about you and your horse, conduct a physical and visual assessment, carry out a gait analysis, locate any areas of tension or discomfort in your horses whole body and provide treatment accordingly.

The fit of your saddle will be assessed statically and any fitting issues will be highlighted and a plan to remedy them provided. If adjustments are needed or a new saddle is required your practitioner will be able to carry these out however an additional appointment may be required and additional costs incurred. *Please be aware that it is impossible to say categorically that a saddle fits without a ridden assessment. However, there are many factors that can be considered statically and a conclusion can be drawn as to the likelihood of the saddle being a contributing factor in any discomfort. This is a good option for owners who suspect their horse has a sore back as many times these horses cannot be ridden due to reactivity levels.

SADDLE FITTING CONSULTATION (stand-alone service) £75

These sessions focus primarily on the fit of your saddle. Your qualified saddle fitter will gather information about you and your horse, carry out a physical and visual assessment, conduct a gait analysis and assess the fit of your saddle statically and dynamically. Adjustments where possible will be made on-site for which additional charges will be incurred. *Please note, if your horse is found to be in a significant amount of pain or discomfort a ridden assessment may not be possible. In these cases it is possible to bolt-on a manual therapy treatment at a small additional cost.

MANUAL THERAPY (stand -alone service) £65

During these sessions your practitioner will assess your horse statically and dynamically, gather information and locate any areas of discomfort. Manual therapy treatment will be provided to address any issues and a follow up plan will be provided. *Please note, referrals may be necessary and follow up appointments may be recommended. If your practitioner suspects your saddle may be a contributing factor a bolt-on static assessment can be purchased and carried out at the time.

REHABILITATION PLANNING £50 per month

Bespoke rehabilitation plans can be organised on an on-going basis. These may include in-hand exercises, ridden exercises, equine management changes, referrals and additional manual therapy sessions (at additional cost, please discuss bulk discounts with your practitioner).

EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS £100

Where feasible emergency appointments for either saddle fitting or manual therapy may be organised, typically within 24 hours. This is a good option if you are particularly eager for your horse to be seen or have an important event coming up. Saddle adjustments will incur additional fees.

FULL SADDLE FITTING AND MANUAL THERAPY CONSULTATION AND TREATMENT £120

Lasting up to three hours these appointments cover all bases including full equine evaluation, static and dynamic saddle assessment, measurements and saddle recommendations as well as manual therapy treatment. Saddle adjustments where possible will be made on site (additional charges apply). Please note, horses must be seen ridden to accurately assess the fit of the saddle and evaluate any modifications. Ridden assessments are typically short and the horse must be allowed time to cool down and return to homeostasis prior to the manual therapy treatment. Therefore if your horse is particularly unfit a follow up appointment may be required to carry out treatment.
